DHAN-DHAN BABA NAND SINGH JI MAHARAJ (The founder of Nanaksar)
Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh Ji was born in the month of Katak (November) 1872 A.D. in the village of Sherpur Kalan of Jagraon Tehsil, Ludhiana District, Punjab India at Holy Home of Sardar Jai Singh and Mata Sada Kaur.
He left Hazoor Sahib in about 1904 A.D. and adopted Sant Wadhawa Singh of village Lehra Khana as his teacher. Sant Wadhawa Singh was wonder struck to observe the supernatural power-s of Baba Ji who completely learnt all that Sant Ji had to teach, in a short time. Sant Wadhawa Singh used to call Baba Ji “Rikhi Ji”. Baba Ji was eager to find some gifted soul who fulfilled the definition of Brahmgiani and was told of Baba Harnam Singli Ji of Bhucho village in Bathinda District of Punjab State.
He heard their divine instructions and was directed to get full knowledge and understanding of the Gurbani of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

This is a modest attempt to give a glimpse of the grand spiritual personality and most inspiring life style of the great sage of Nanaksar Kaleran, Jagraon, Punjab, India. As it well nigh impossible for a mortal to narrate the glory of the Eternal, in telling this divine tale, sincere apologies are offered for inadequacies.
